Interactive Designer

The Interactive Designer will plan, design, code, and execute all of our e-mail marketing initiatives and additional digital executions. In your role as Interactive Ddesigner, your day-to-day tasks will consist of collaborating with the brand, marketing and ecommerce teams to define requirements, iterate on design solutions, and contribute expertise for various digital products with a primary focus on email marketing. Reporting to the Sr. E-Commerce Manager you’ll be involved with our email marketing channel development from end to end: collaborating on strategy, flow implementation, design, final execution, optimization, and reporting. The Interactive Designer is a digital graphic designer at heart, with a native understanding of e-mail design, code and best practices, and is passionate about fashion and marketing. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in design discussions and lead the overarching design aesthetic and digital brand standards
  • Work closely with internal marketing team to plan key email marketing executions and other potential email initiatives
  • Collaborate and plan email marketing executions including campaigns, automated flows, and transactional emails
  • Design, code, schedule, and execute all email marketing assets/campaigns
  • Iterate new designs based on user feedback and post-campaign performance
  • Create email designs for CRM programs and coordinate the creation of email templates in HTML
  • Create creative concepts and assets for digital and social advertising following best practices
  • Create website, digital, social media and other external vendor assets as needed
  • Research industry trends to present ideas and concepts for timely digital innovation
  • Assist with other marketing and design projects as needed
  • Assist with maintaining and reporting on KPI’s to track and measure performance against goals and post-campaign analysis to identify opportunities for campaign optimization
  • Assist with maintaining 3rd party relationships with external vendors related to email marketing executions
  • Assist with managing the email marketing platform including exporting weekly lists, identifying/creating list segmentation and maintenance of on-site pop-ups

Qualifications

  • Diploma and/or Degree in Graphic Design
  • 2+ years experience in digital graphic design
  • Portfolio demonstrating print and digital design capabilities
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Expertise in email development, coding and design
  • Expertise in current digital design practices and tools, including Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
  • Expert in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Office 365 in a mac-based environment
  • Expert level of design fundamentals including composition, colour, and typography
  • Strong understanding of CSS, HTML and mobile-first practices
  • Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and web production techniques
  • Experience with user-centered design, rapid prototyping, and user testing
  • Aptitude for learning reporting and analytics analysis
  • Familiarity with third party email platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey)
  • Photo and video editing expertise
  • Proven digital content skills
  • Experience creating digital assets for a variety of target audiences
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor design teams
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Must have a true passion for fashion and apparel

Digital Ad Specialist

The Digital Ad Specialist will develop, implement, track, report and optimize our digital marketing campaigns for all brands across all digital channels. You will develop and implement traffic and conversion strategies to achieve Mondetta’s international sales and growth objectives. The Digital Ad Specialist is a Certified Google AdWords Specialist with a strong understanding of all social ad platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest and SEO/SEM strategies and techniques. They will have a strong understanding of current and emerging marketing tools/platforms and digital strategies and will lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. The Digital Ad Specialist will work with the marketing, brand and ecommerce teams, in addition to vendors and 3rd parties to launch campaigns on time and on budget.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all paid digital marketing advertising including social media, search and display for all brands
  • Plan and execute an SEO/SEM strategy for each brand
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and measure against goals (ROAS and KPIs)
  • Optimize ad campaigns to achieve identified objectives
  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights and actionable tasks to improve performance
  • Develop new and creative customer acquisition strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize user experience
  • Evaluate and improve end-to-end customer experience across channels and customer touch points
  • Identify conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners as required
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Management of affiliate and loyalty programs
  • Content creation support including copy and assets for social media, web, email and on- garment requirements as required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Digital Marketing Strategist, Digital Ad Specialist or similar; experience in the apparel industry would be an asset
  • Certified Google AdWords Specialist
  • Google Analytics certification
  • Experience implementing and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software
  • Experience implementing and optimizing Google, Yahoo, Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest ads and campaigns
  • Experience dealing with international markets
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools such as keyword planner, SEMrush, MOZ, etc.
  • Hands on experience with online marketing tools and best practices
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing and social media tools, metrics, analytics, platforms and technologies
  • Experience negotiating and working with media partners, agencies and social networks
  • Experience conducting and/or leveraging market research to influence campaigns, expand brand reach and customer base; measurable results
  • Experience in retail and wholesale marketing would be an asset
  • Excellent creative leadership, planning and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of multichannel marketing concepts and strategies
  • Having experience in recognizing international fashion brands, trends, and the implications of how best they translate to the Mondetta/MPG customers, would be an asset
  • Familiarity with web design and HTML
