The Sustainable Apparel Coalition
The Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) is a global multi-stakeholder nonprofit alliance for the consumer goods industry. It comprises more than 250 leading apparel, footwear, textile manufacturers, brands, retailers, suppliers, service providers, trade associations, nonprofits, NGOs and academic institutions working to reduce environmental impact and promote social justice throughout the global value chain.

Developed by the SAC in partnership with its more than 250 member companies, the HIGG Index was created to serve as a suite of tools for the standardized measurement of value chain sustainability. The suite of tools makes it possible to measure the environmental and social impacts of how, where, and under what conditions products are made and the companies making them. Organizations across the globe access the tools through the HIGG software platform, developed by SAC's technology partner.
As a member of SAC, Mondetta/MPG receives frequent updates on new sustainability standards and efforts launched by leading organizations and industry experts to ensure we remain at the forefront of sustainable apparel practices.

B Lab™ / B Corp™
Mondetta/MPG has partnered with B Lab™ to assess and evaluate how we do business and thereby locate where we can improve our operations to become as socially and environmentally responsible as possible. Mondetta/MPG is proud to be the ninth clothing company in Canada to become a Certified B Corporation™.
By opening our doors to the B Lab™ auditors/assessment teams, we’re making efforts to become fully transparent and accountable in everything we do. In so doing, we hope to give our customers the confidence to know that the sustainable claims we make are verified and that our promises to do better are valid.

Asper School of Business: The Associates
We’ve partnered with the business school at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, where our headquarters are located, by engaging in event sponsorships, educational workshops, and mentorship opportunities to foster and help develop the next generation of business leaders in our local community.

Business Council of Manitoba
We’ve partnered with the Business Council of Manitoba on their Indigenous Education Awards to donate $150,000 annually to provide deserving indigenous students assistance to attend post-secondary education institutes.
Echoing the efforts of our own Mondetta Charity Foundation, which focuses on education initiatives, investing in education is a powerful tool to strengthen and improve communities by giving the next generation a step up to realize their full potential.
Our CEO, Ash Modha, also serves on the BCM’s Truth and Reconciliation Committee, which aims to bring together local stakeholders working toward a more equitable future.
We’re working harder than ever to create sustainable apparel with trusted partners and using new tools.
By becoming a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and using the Higg Index tools to measure our performance, our parent company, Mondetta, is reaffirming its commitment to creating sustainable apparel.
Developed by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) in partnership with its more than 250 member companies, the Higg Index was created to serve as a suite of tools for the standardized measurement of value chain sustainability.
